We are in Rome, in a villa inside the Appia Antica Park. The intervention involved a new redistribution of spaces, made from scratch at the request of the client, a couple with two daughters. The project envisaged the location of the sleeping area and the living|dining area, spacious and convivial with an open kitchen, on the lower floor; the living area, on the other hand, is located on the upper floor, which can be reached through the resin-covered staircase and the central bookcase block entirely made to measure.
On the lower floor of the Villa, an amaranth-colored septum|container punctuates the functions between the three bedrooms and the living area by highlighting the entrances through frosted glass doors.
The house fully reflects the personality of the lady of the house, a woman of great depth, a traveler, curious and eccentric, the aim of the project was to interpret and translate this into architecture, the result is an eclectic ensemble in which the distribution of interior spaces blends with the layout. Every room does not lack a touch of color whether it is provided by Farrow and Ball paintings or Wallpaper. An ever-evolving wunderkammer with the possibility of enriching it trip after trip. Important designer furnishings blend with memories of trips to the East, including large paper lamps by Jaime Hayón, Glo Ball by Flos, and the large Air table by Lago.
